A Little About Us

CSS Driver Training was established in 1976 and is one of the largest, privately owned driving schools in Ontario. Owner Paul Ryder has over 30 years experience in driver education in varying capacities.

Our in-car and classroom instructors are exceptionally qualified. They have high levels of experience, some of whom have been teaching for more than two decades in Ontario. Our instructors have taken professional development courses in the industry and have high level licenses. Some of our trainers are contracted by community colleges to teach courses that license new driving instructors in Ontario.

Toronto CSS has always been located at Yonge and Eglinton in Midtown Toronto since its inception. This centralized location enables us to serve all the Greater Toronto Area.

With a tremendous increase in vehicular traffic in Toronto, defensive driving and accident avoidance techniques are imperative. Our aim and goal is to train people beyond minimum ministry requirements. Keeping in line with the successful Graduated Licensing system in Ontario, we able to concentrate on the layered aspect of truly training drivers for a full G license.

Our classroom facilities are clean and modern and our instructors utilize visual aids and standard exercise instruction to teach students. Interest is maintained by providing a relaxed, pertinent curriculum based on different driving techniques, driver attitudes, analysis of traffic situations, and the underlying cause of driver errors.

Great care is taken when matching students to in-car instructors. We like to maintain a high level of satisfaction, and we encourage our customers to inform us when something is not right so that we can correct it.

CSS Driver Training is continuously trying to expand and improve its services, which go beyond simply training new drivers. We are involved in specialized training, corporate training, upgrading, trauma cases, special needs, etc. Our staff is trained to customize programs to meet your specific needs.
